Midfielder Adnan Januzaj, 19, says he is happy at Manchester United
Adnan Januzaj claims he wants to play No. 10 for Manchester United.
Januzaj insists he has not become unsettled by the arrival of Angel di Maria and Radamel Falcao and says he is happy at Old Trafford.
He is excited by United’s prospects under new boss Louis van Gaal and says he hopes the Dutchman will use him in a central role.
When asked where he would prefer to play, the Belgian forward said: “No. 10 of course. That’s my preferred position, but I’m happy to play anywhere for the manager.
“I saw some reports saying I was unhappy. That couldn’t be further from the truth.
“I love this club and I’m excited to play for this manager. The fans have been so good to me and I want to repay them.”
Januzaj, 19, is relaxed about United’s woeful start and van Gaal has not won any of his first four games.
He feels the former Holland boss just needs more time to bed in his new signings.
“Everything changes and can change very quickly,” he told Squawka.
“We need more time for the new manager. It’s very hard for managers to come into Man United. Just be patient.
“Man United is obviously a big club so obviously I want to do as well as I can and gain lots of experience and win trophies too.”
